Glenn has dedicated his life to excellence, first serving his country and then helping golfers of all abilities enjoy and improve their game.
After leaving Chiltern Edge School, Glenn joined the British Army in 1987, serving with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Royal Regiment. His military career took him around the world, including 18 months based in Hong Kong, two years at Catterick Garrison, and training exercises in Malaysia, Hawaii and Germany. In 1991, he was awarded the General Service Medal following a six-month operational tour in Northern Ireland. During his time in Hong Kong, Glenn also represented the Army on the golf course, combining his passion for the game with a commitment to excellence.
On leaving the Army in 1991, Glenn turned his full attention to a career in golf, becoming Assistant Professional at Drayton Park Golf Club. Competing in PGA tournaments and Pro-Am events provided invaluable experience and laid the foundations for a coaching career that has now spanned more than three decades.
Glenn joined Hennerton Golf Club in 1993 as Head Assistant Professional to William Farrow, qualifying as a PGA Professional later that year. In 2010, he became Hennerton's Club Professional and Golf Manager, a role in which he has continued to inspire and develop golfers of every age and ability.

Always committed to developing his own knowledge, Glenn has learned from some of golf's most respected coaches and performance specialists, including Liam Mucklow, Pete Cowen, James Jankowski and Karl Morris. His expertise has also been recognised by the BBC, who have regularly invited him to provide golf instruction and expert insight.
As a fully qualified PGA Professional with AAT status, Glenn maintains the highest professional standards and is fully DBS checked, with up-to-date Safeguarding and Child Protection certification.

Michael Critcher
PGA Professional and Putting Coach
Michael's golfing career began immediately after leaving secondary school when he joined Bearwood Golf Club in 2008 as the Professional's Assistant. Over the next five years, he developed a strong foundation in the golf industry, gaining valuable experience across all aspects of the profession while also serving as the club's Junior Organiser, helping to inspire and develop the next generation of golfers.
In 2014, Michael joined Badgemore Park Golf Club as an Assistant PGA Professional and successfully completed his PGA qualification in 2017. During his time at Badgemore, he gained extensive experience in golf club operations, business management, retail, and coaching. Working with golfers of all abilities—from complete beginners and enthusiastic juniors to elite touring professionals—allowed him to develop a versatile coaching style tailored to every player's needs.
Following the completion of his PGA training, Michael was appointed Head PGA Professional, taking responsibility for all aspects of the club's golfing operations. While overseeing the day-to-day golf business, his true passion has always been coaching. His ability to build strong relationships and deliver measurable improvements has enabled him to establish a loyal and growing client base, which he continues to expand at Hennerton Golf Club.
Alongside his coaching, Michael remains an active competitor on the PGA South Region and BB&O PGA circuits, regularly playing in professional tournaments and Pro-Ams. His competitive experience keeps his coaching current and relevant, with multiple top-10 finishes and a notable victory at the 2018 BB&O PGA Henley Pro-Am highlighting his ability to perform under pressure.
