Glenn Johnson – Club PGA Professional & Golf Manager
After leaving Chiltern Edge School Glenn joined the British Forces in 1987, Glenn joined the Duke of Edinburgh’s Royal Regiment in 1988 where he was based in Hong Kong for 18 months, followed by two years at Catterick Garrison.
He had numerous exercises in Malaysia, Hawaii, Germany and in February 1991 he received his General Service Medal for a 6 month tour of duty in Northern Ireland.
Whilst serving his time in the Armed Forces he played golf for the Army in Hong Kong.
After leaving the forces in May 1991 he became the Assistant to the Professional at Drayton Park Golf Club where he played in many PGA tournaments as well as Pro-Ams.
Glenn joined Hennerton Golf Club in 1993 as Head Assistant Professional to William Farrow and later that year qualified as a PGA Professional.
In 2010 Glenn became the Club Professional and Golf Manager for Hennerton.
Glenn is a passionate golf coach and has been coaching for over 25 years, and brings a wealth of experience from coaching beginner through to tour players.
He has been very fortunate to attend seminars from the likes of Pete Cowan, Karl Morris, Jamie Edwards and Scott Cranfield, he has also on numerous occasions been asked by the BBC to deliver instructions and talk on golf matters.
He is fully up to date with DBS, safeguarding and child protection guidelines and his current PGA grade is AA.

Warren Harris – PGA Professional
After leaving secondary school Warren dived straight into a golf career beginning at Bearwood Golf Club as the Professional’s Assistant. He gained 5&1/2 years’ experience at this members club, learning and understanding the golf industry, whilst also acting as the organiser for the club’s junior section.
In 2008 he moved to Downshire Golf Complex as a Shop Sales Assistant, gaining good knowledge in retail and the workings of a public golf course.
After almost exactly 2 years at Downshire Warren then joined the team here at Hennerton in April 2010, going on to turn Professional in October 2013.
Since then he has gained his Level Two coaching certificate and became a fully qualified PGA Professional in September 2017. Warren teaches an array of different players ranging from beginners, Juniors, Ladies and Men, through to Club Champions and Berkshire County Girl players. He is also the Junior Organiser for the growing junior section as well as delivering regular Junior coaching sessions and holiday golf camps.
Warren also regularly competes on the PGA South Region and BB&O circuit, playing a mix of individual events and Pro-Am's, achieving a number of top 10 finishes as well as, more recently, a win at the BB&O PGA Autumn Classic.
