Hennerton benefits from a chalky outcrop ensuring it is well drained and therefore rarely closes.

During the summer the greens are kept in condition by a timed irrigation system.

During the winter when heavy rain is sustained you are advised to call the pro-shop in case of temporary water-logging. Once the rain stops, play may be resumed after only a very short period to allow the water to drain off the greens.

Please call the pro-shop in the occasion of a heavy ground frost as a couple of holes may be affected in the valley.
